Sagar - Seminary on Wheels (S.O.W)

The Mission

Seminary on Wheels exists to disciple and equip shepherds and church leaders with hermeneutical and homiletical tools that help them grow in a right understanding of theWord of God and build Biblical community (2 Timothy 2:15).

In many parts of India, pastors have a sincere desire to preach faithfully—but lack access to formal training. S.O.W. was created to go to them

The Need

While studying at Moody Theological Seminary, Sagar became deeply aware of how many biblical misinterpretations he himself had once believed and even taught. That conviction sparked a burden for the 90% of pastors in India who have never received formal theological education.

Many pastors face significant barriers:

  • Limited access to seminaries or Bible colleges
  • Financial challenges
  • Educational requirements that prevent entry into formal institutions
  • Family obligations
  • Geographic distance
  • Influence of unbiblical media teaching and prosperity gospel movements

These leaders often have a sincere heart and a strong calling—but very few biblically sound teachers.

The Plan

Seminary on Wheels brings training directly to pastors.

Through regional training gatherings and teaching modules, Sagar equips church leaders with:

  • Basic hermeneutical tools
  • Foundations in Biblical theology
  • Skills to rightly interpret and exposit Scripture
  • Discernment to recognize and expose false teaching

The goal is simple and strategic:
To help pastors see the truth, examine the truth, exposit the truth, and expose the lie.

As pastors grow in clarity and conviction, entire communities are strengthened.
